If anyone can bring any firewood and fire lighters, that would be great.

Leon & Josieleon dowlingParticipantAs the New Year approaches its time to fill your new diaries with all the exciting meets Starting with Coniston 26th/27th January.
All details are in Geoff’s previous post. If you intend to go, could you please let me know and pay your money yo the CMC account directly.
We are half full at the moment so don’t wait too long.
We could do so some sort of communal curry, Paella etc on the Saturday.
Volunteers to lead the cooking are welcome or Me & Josie could do the curry and bits we did last year in Rhyd-ddu with everybody’s
assistance.
Will put out another post with details of hut entry and catering arrangements nearer the time.
Wishing everybody a happy and safe New Year.
Leon & Josieleon dowlingParticipantHi All,
Looking at the weather forecast just, it could go either way.
with only two people expressing an interest in going to standing stones, I will call it off.
I have got a circular walk in mind from Dunford bridge car park TPT (free) if anyone is interested 10 easy miles but does involve some walking along quiet roads.
Or we could try Wharncliffe, but it could be wet
I am out till late evening so will decide based on people preferences late evening.
Leonleon dowlingParticipantWill put attachments on Whats App.
Too big for our message board
Leonleon dowlingParticipantHi all,
For those lucky people going to Wales this weekend, myself and Josie are going to take ingredients to make onion bhaji
and chapati . we are also going to bring along the spices and sundries to make a sesame chicken Indian dish.
If anyone would like to join us in a communal meal then you will need to bring Chicken (200g per head) or Equivalent Quorn and an Onion.
This is not a hot dish and is usually served with chapati.
Any other starters or puddings welcome.
Leon & Josieleon dowlingParticipantHi All,
Could do Wilton Quarry (hoping Santa brings me the new guide).
Yellowslacks, if its still there !
Dovestones / Robs rocks or anything in that area.
we could do Anglesey Rhoscolyn ?
Leonleon dowlingParticipantHi All,
In line with the updated guidance, this cycle meet is now cancelled.
I will reschedule it when times are better.
Take care everyone.
Leon& Josieleon dowlingParticipantHi All,
At the moment its not looking likely that I will be joining all you extreme mountaineers in Patterdale.
I have got all my stuff pack ready and if I am feeling better tomorrow I may still join you.
Reading the previous posts I assume that people are going to sort there own main course out
or go to the Pub .
So if I don’t see you there Have A great time.
PS,
Paul do you want us to pay the balance into the CC bank account if I don’t see you this weekend?
Is it £20 for me & Josie on top of the deposit we have paid?leon dowlingParticipantHi Paul,
I was planning on going, but travelling from Chesterfield.
If you could please let me know tomorrow teatime if its a go.
Leonleon dowlingParticipantHi All,
As forecasted its raining.
I will not be going to Wharncliffe.
Enjoy yourselves, whatever you do
Leonleon dowlingParticipantAnglesey camping April 29th Bank Holiday weekend.
I have booked 10 pitches on the Pentre Iago Farm campsite at Rhoscolyn LL5 2NQ
The Club has stayed here before and although facilities are limited, they normally well looked after.
They are relaxed about the numbers so the more the merrier. There is plenty for everyone climbing, walking, cycling and possibly
sunbathing. There is a gastro pub in the Village, The White Eagle.
Caravans and motorhomes are also welcome but there is no hook up available.
All this will only cost you £5.00 per night.
See you all there.
