Reminder re the North Yorks Moor meet 5-8th May.
So far we have Gemma, Kial, John M,Geoff, Kathy, Lorna, Linda M, David P, Bill and myself. Apologies if you have been in touch and I have missed you off the list – just let me know.
The Kildale campsite is a great little site, The location is excellent for lots of different activities walking, cycling, bouldering and climbing eg Scugdale and Wainstones. Range of grades with plenty in the lower grades to get us going.
Please book the campsite individually. Given it is a popular time of year, the campsite is fairly small and they do not let it get overcrowded I suggest you book promptly. Unfortunately no caravans or motorhomes. Camper vans ok. Dogs allowed. https://kildalebarn.co.uk/
Please let me know when you have booked. Marymary reapeKeymasterChristmas meal.

Marymary reapeKeymasterCorrection. David Turton has applied to the club, not Turner as in the original post. Apologies. Mary
mary reapeKeymasterBoth ideas sound good to me. Very happy to be part of recce group.
mary reapeKeymasterI have ‘hosted’ small groups on zoom and it is easy to set up. I have used WebEx once – both are very similar. It does rely on your internet connection. I have had only a failure on one occasion – others could talk but I kept disappearing. You just have to download the app, be invited to the meeting and click on the link on your invite at the time. If that doesn’t work then you have a meeting ID you can copy and paste. WebEX has no time limit apparently. With Zoom you can just end meeting and go straight into another one and you can split into subgroups in theory which begins to sound a bit complicated. People could experiment with the different apps in little groups and feed back which they prefer. Stay safe folks.
