Sounds lovely and I’m definitely up for some cycling up Ventoux. I’m a definite maybe π
GemGemma ScougalKeymasterLove the idea of a wildlife excursion, so definitely up for that. I had a quick look the other week and it seemed reasonably priced (Β£45 I think) for an otter and eagle safari π
We’ll arrive Thursday evening. Going to make the most of the nice weather for the first few days!
See everyone Friday!
GemGemma ScougalKeymasterSounds great Ali.
Myself and Kial will be going up on the Thursday. The wild swimming sounds amazing, so I’ll be packing my wetsuit….I’ll also be doing some fell and road runs too.
I’d considered going on a wildlife safari trip. Do you think it’s worth it? i.e. is there a good chance we’ll see otters and sea eagles on our own? Cheers
GemmaGemma ScougalKeymasterHi Hugh,
Kial and I are interested in the 1pm trip if there’s still places.
Cheers,
GemmaGemma ScougalKeymasterI have a 3/4 season sleeping bag. It was from the army surplus store around 15 years. It’s still in good nick although the stuff sack is a little worn. I’ve only recently replaced it this year for one that stuffs into a smaller stuff sack. It’s all yours if you want it?
Gemma ScougalKeymasterHi Geoff,
Put myself and Kial down.
ThanksGemma
Gemma ScougalKeymasterscrap that last post. we’re coming down Friday evening. We’ll see everyone then.
GemmaGemma ScougalKeymasterMyself and Kial have booked an extra night and are hoping to arrive on the Thursday evening, ready to head out exploring first thing Friday. The chap at the campsite is aware that we’re altogether with the club so if you want to pitch up near us, look for the teepee bell tent.
There’s surfing and Stand UP Paddle boarding close by!….I’m getting distracted……stick with the climbing.
See you there.
GemmaGemma ScougalKeymasterHi, will this still be going ahead if it’s raining? If it’s just a case of putting waterproofs on, I don’t mind. I’m travelling from donny so if the weather turns horrid, I’ve got chance to turn back (or go to the indoor wall). Cheers
