    Castle Mountaineering club – introduction to outdoor climbing skills

    Saturday 28th April – meet at Stanage Popular end car park [Hooks Car GR246,828]. 9.0am

    To cover: placing runners, making a belay, belaying, abseiling, guide books, grades, leading.
    What we cover depends on how much you know already.

    Bring harness, rock boots, helmet and belay plate [if you have them]

    Hi, will this still be going ahead if it’s raining? If it’s just a case of putting waterproofs on, I don’t mind. I’m travelling from donny so if the weather turns horrid, I’ve got chance to turn back (or go to the indoor wall). Cheers
