Just a reminder that my hut meet to Clapham near Settle is coming up in a few weeks and there are a maximum of 16 places, and I have 10 people signed up after my note here back in Aug ( I think.) So far I have Leon, Josie, Russ, Lynn, David , me, Andrew, Ali, Mike D, Charles. First come first served, priority to members, newcomers welcome if places left.
You can walk from the hut to Ingleborough, there are great limestone crags very nearby with routes at all grades, some sports limestone climbing too, The mountain biking is fab so I am told and it is lovely cycling country too, What more could you want? The hut is of a very high standard- the yorkshire ramblers club hut in clapham, website is yrc. It is £10 per person per night or £5.50 if you are a CC/Fell and Rock/ Wayfarer/ YRC member. Will post directions and key stuff the week before or contact me.
