This Sunday’s meet is a Walk and Scramble with Walk. In order to cut off about 4 km walking along the reservoirs at the end we can do a car shuttle. So meet at parking Valehouse Wood off the Woodhead near Tintwistle (035 977) at 9.30am. We will ‘shuttle’ to Crowden and head either to Oaken Clough Scramble (great scramble which will be wet to some degree depending on choice of route) or up path towards Laddow Rocks meeting up en route.Then off towards Chew Resevoir. Scramblers can do one of the Wilderness Gully’s before heading for Tintwhistle over Ormes Moor and back to the cars.
All welcome. I will have a dog who will not be able to do the scrambles. All welcome.
