Meet at the free car park in Eyam (GR 217768)
The route climbs past Lady Wash Mine and Sir William Hill Road for the descent to Stoke Ford from where Abney Clough leads to Abney.The return passes Cockey Farm to reach Nether Bretton and Shepherd’s Flat Farm.After Highcliffe the stoney track leads back to Eyam.
Distance-just over 7 miles.
