As this week is walking challenge week, it has been agreed to break the rules of Thursday walks, so I am planning a double stage of the Peak District Boundary walk, linear, 18 miles.
Will park in Whaley bridge, take minimum cars to the Crag Inn at Wildboarclough, and start stage 18 there.
It looks like a fantastic walk, taking in Shutlingsloe, Macclesfield forest, Teggs nose, White Nancy, down into Bollington. Then continue with stage 19 passing Andrew’s knob, canal, Lyme park stately house, river goyt and finish in Whaley bridge. Will investigate somewhere to have a meal at end, so let us know if you are interested. Will be walked at a steady pace. Cheers Linda
