Meet 10 am outside the church in Eyam ( G.R.218765).
The route leads eastwards past Riley Graves and then downhill to Froggat Bridge and along the valley to Grindleford.From there we continue over Upper Padley and through Coppice Wood and Rough Wood before reaching Ledmill Bridge.We then climb to Callow Farm and High Low Hall farm before continuing up the valley to Stoke Ford.A steady climb then leads up to the Sir William Road and past the Lady Wash mine before descending back to Eyam.
Distance 9.5 miles approx.
