If you are using the Message Board to sent out a follow-up message about a meet, e.g. more details, change of plan or leader, cancellation etc., it would be helpful to do this as a Reply to the original Message rather than as a new Topic. That way, all messages about a meet can be seen on the same screen, in (reverse) chronological order.
The original message can usually be found by clicking the link on the date in the meets list. Alternatively, use the Search facility on the Forums page, which you reach when you click on Messageboard.
A Meet Report, on the other hand, would be better as a new topic.
