Meet at Main Car park in Edale 12 4 85 3 at 9 30am
Route will be Mam Tor, Rushup Edge, Brown knoll. Southern edge of kinder and return by either Grindslow knoll or The Nab, whichever we feel like on the day. Distance 16km which is approx10 miles
I do not plan to visit air crash sites on this walk but we do pass close to one so an optional detour would be possible if wanted.
Any further info needed phone 078119864153 of us met up for this walk one of whom met us below Mam Tor due to it being impossible to find anywhere to park in Edale.
An atmospheric time was had going over Rushup Edge and Brown Knoll in mist, light rain and strong westerly winds The mist and low cloud didn’t lift until we were on Kinder. An uneventful descent was made via Grindslow Knoll to return to Edale
thanks for the company it was good to chat although the meet leader was struggling a bit from being ill and tired after the Scottish trip.
