Climb Sunday 7 June – Roaches

Hello all,

The Sunday climbing destination for 7 June is the Roaches. Gritstone trad climbing, everything from well protected lower grade routes to high E grades. Also very good but usually polished bouldering.

Many classics eg Pedestal Route (HVD), Black and Tans (S), Saul’s Crack (HVS 5a), The Sloth (HVS).

Please let me know if you plan to come along and whether you have ropes and gear. About 1 hour drive from Sheffield, use forum or WhatsApp to arrange lift shares.

Meet at the Black and Tans / Great Slab area on the Upper Tier from 10am.
Parking: along roadside or field by Roaches Tea Rooms at Paddock Farm.

I’ve injured my shoulder, unlikely to be able to climb. Please let me know if you would be happy to take on the coordinator role. Thank you.
