This Sunday’s meet is at the excellent Wildcat in Matlock Bath. It’s got lots of mid-grade, mostly multi-pitch limestone in a woodland setting.

Access arrangements have become a bit complicated in recent years so here’s a summary.

– parking is at either end of Matlock Bath with dinner free spots on the main road (they fill up early!). The nearest is the crag is the Temple Walk car park.
– Access is only possible from the to of the crag
– there are 7 abseil stations; it’s abseil access only to the bottom of the crag
– it would be useful if someone could bring a static rope so that we can set up a permanent abseil point
