A party of 13 left Leadmill Bridge for the steady ascent of Bretton Clough and as we emerged from the oak woods the overcast sky had given way to bright sunshine. Lunch was taken at the start of the Abney Moor path which was then followed to Offerton Moor. Before descending we paused to admire the extensive views of the Hope Valley then continued towards Offerton Hall, Callow Farm and finally our starting point in warm sunshine.
