13 people and a dog assembled at Holmesfield and made use of the Dronfield Rotary Walk as we skirted Dronfield, dropped down through Crowley and headed for Monk Wood. The rain caught up with us over coffee but we were pretty sheltered in the wood. The benches at the Commonside ponds were an ideal place for dinner although an efficient affair given the continuing rain. 2 wise people made use of the local fishing clubs shelter. A quick return to Holmesfield and tea and cake to follow. Lovely to see Rick before he headed off to the Pyrenees and back to Japan.
