Meet at GR SK 225886, the small parking area just up the first turn right turn off the Strines road from the A57. We’ll head up to Moscar Cross, then down by Boots Tower to Dale Dyke and return by Stake Hill Road. Parking a bit limited, so suggest car shares.

In the absence of the injured meet leader, a small group of 6 set of on a relatively easy walk round Dale Dyke reservoir. Coffee stop
was taken in a superb field of bluebells and lunch in a sunny spot overlooking the dam. The group then started the long, uphill walk back to the cars. excellent walk, and thanks to Dave for driving out to explain he route to us
