Meet at pay and display car park in Hope (just west of A6187and Edale Rd junction) GR171835. There is free parking on main road west of car park and elsewhere, but appears more limited than before by school off Edale rd due to Restricted Parking notices. Worth sharing transport. I have room for 3.
Walk initially follows Noe valley, then goes via Backside wood and Hope Cross – a mix and riverside, woodland and open country terrain.
Usual 11am start. A smidgeon under 7miles.
