Hi All

The plan for this walk is as follows.

Start grid ref SK 14 4 82 8 This is the road junction where the road out of Castleton turns up Winnatts pass towards Speedwell mine. There is free parking on the road at this point as the charging only applies weekends and bank hols which suits our purpose well.
The route goes up the spur at the right hand side of the pass. over the top and over to Mam tor. Then along the ridge to Lose Hill.
Descend to Hope (possible cafe stop if wanted) then return to Castleton alongside the river
distance is 11 km which is around 7 mls

This is on ground we have all no doubt covered before but it is still a brilliant route and one of my own favourites.
