Beeley Moor. Meet in Beeley for a walk up through the pine forest following the waterfalls, then over the moor to the bronze age burial cist of Hob Hurst’s House and back again. Plenty of free street parking in Beeley. Meet at the small triangular green with the big tree growing in it, next to the church. This is on School Lane which leads to Moorend. Please don’t park in the church/ resident’s carpark. Plenty of soggy muddy ground so wellies are optional. The Devonshire Arms looks good for a reflective drink afterwards. See you there. it’s approximately 6 miles. Tom.
