Meet at the” Peak Village” shopping centre Rowsley (G,R.258660). If traveling through the Chatsworth estate it is signposted on the right just before the junction with the A6.On entering the car park follow signs for “Bamford Auctioneers & Valuers” & continue past the main parking area and round the corner to the left and park at zone F.Parking is free and authorised.
The route goes past Rowsley Church and over Rowsley Moor Wood to Calton Plantations and Edensor from where the Chatsworth estate is followed south to the “One Arch Bridge” and on to Beeley.Field paths then lead past Folds Farm and back by the river to the shopping village.
Distance 7.5 miles.
