A select group of 5 set out on a lovely spring morning.
Circling Dale Dike Reservoir we descended the valley to Low Bradfield and then climbed to the old church by High Bradfield where we stopped for lunch on the side of the Old Bailey.From there we continued through the woods and traversed below Agden Rocher to Rocher Head.Gaining the road beyond we were soon heading south above Agden Side and descending to the western end of Agden reservoir.The woods beyond led us to Wilkin Hill with a steepish ascent to the junction with Mortimer Road from where it was an easy descent through fields back to the cars.
An enjoyable round exploring a little frequented corner of the Peak District in pleasant spring sunshine.
