Four club members joined me on my first attempt as a walk leader on a drab and uninspiring day. We headed up past Clough Farm to the bottom of Jaggers Clough and swam up through the very wet bracken. A break was taken at the top of the Clough with tales of the France bike trip, broken bike seat, various accidents and sore bits of anatomy. Vanda also told us the tale of her attempt to buy muffs which we found very amusing and I am sure that she is willing to share the details with the rest of the club!
We carried on round to Ringing Roger, Nether Tor in various amounts of wetness and had a lunch stop at Upper Tor admiring Sean’s corn fed chicken knees!
A descent was made to Edale via Grindsbrook in improving weather and back to the cars at Nether Booth.
I think that everyone enjoyed the walk but I will try to organise better weather next time.
