Rob Green has finally joined us, after retiring this summer. I think we only saw him as a rare Siberian dusky thrush was supposed to be lurking at Beeley. There were a lot of twitchers at Beeley, and we watched them trying to watch the rare little bird with their massive equipment!! Well, most of them were men with long lenses.
Roswley car park at the retail outlet now only let you park for 4 hours free, so some moved, some paid, and a few crossed their fingers and gobbled down their lunch and were ready before the meet leader got out her flask! We stayed dry and enjoyed the company, walk and scenery. Found paths some had not been on before, not bad. Cheers Linda
