Meet at Whaley bridge train station (free car park), to leave at 8am. There is a bigger free car park signed to canal basin, if train one full about 200m away. We will take the minimum of cars to the start at the crag Inn at Wildboarclough. About half hours drive. About 18 miles. Will finish at the Cock pub on the main road in Whaley bridge A5004. They have given me a menu and I will ring in orders and numbers by noon. They finish serving by 8pm, but I think we should be there between 5.30 and 6.30?
If you want to do a bit shorter walk,Charles will be with his car at Lyme park, cutting out about 4 miles, so 14 miles. If you want to join in Bollington, it would be about 9 miles, and you don’t have to get out of bed so early, but let me know as i need to order the food! Or meet us at the pub.
