Sixteen of us, including one on her first meet, left Dennis Knoll and headed for the quarry at the SE end of Bamford Edge where we had a break. With help from the rest of the group, an only slightly damp trackless route north was found, to a wall junction after which paths led to the top of Jarvis Clough. After a lunch stop, we followed Stanage Edge over High Neb back to the start. A very pleasant 5.4mile walk. Thanks to all who came.
