Weather looking good and dry for Sunday meeting for climbing 10am at the car parking on the road by the Roaches.
Walkers meet at same place, same time to car share to Roach End ; or see you at Roach End for 10.15am. Walk starts at 10.30am sharp from Roach End to explore the countryside west of the Roaches: walking along the River Dane, past Wincle brewery, and then up to Wincle Minn with fantastic views. Making our way back to Wincle via magical woodland, we will return to the cars via Hanging Stone Rock – more fantastic views and a tribute to the Brocklehurst family who introduced Wallabies to the Roaches. 13miles ish.
If anyone wants to come over tomorrow night we are doing a veggie supper 7.30pm 01538300028.
