Meet 0930 at Hope -either on the Edale Road or by the school (GR173835) where we will leave one or more cars before continuing to the parking area by the track leading to the Edale YHA (GR 143862).The early start should allow us time to park up by the hostel track which is a popular parking area.
After the hostel the route takes the footpath east past Rowland Cote & Clough Farm to the start of Jagger’s Clough.The Clough ascends Kinder by an attractive side valley which joins a perimeter path by Crookstone Moor.From there we continue west to Jolly Roger s and a descent to “The Knab” and Edale.
After Edale the route crosses the valley and climbs to Hollins Cross and continues along the ridge to Lose Hill and so back to Hope.
