With low cloud and light winds, eight of us cycled/ walked up the old Mam Tor road from Castleton before heading for Peak Forest and a café in Tideswell. Within minutes of resuming the ride one bike punctured, was swiftly repaired, then promptly punctured again, so the rider decided to arrange a lift home. On the way back to Castleton, 2 of the party peeled off to Bradwell, leaving just 5 of us back at the start, moments before the rain started. 18.7miles. Thanks to all who could join in.
