Puttrell challenge – Sunday 14th May

J.W. Puttrell did over 40 routes at Wharncliffe edge between 1895 and 1910. The challenge is to see how many of them you can do in a day. Bonus points for flat cap, breeches and nailed boots. A list will be provided, but you can also find them in the Burbage guide.
Meet 9.0am; Station Road, Deepcar, past the Lowood working Men’s club. Latecomers can meet us at the crag. Puttrell climbed in all weathers – but if it is too wet for the 21st century climber, an alternative will be posted on whatsap.
