Tried to book the Clapham YRC hut a while ago, but it seems to get booked up at least a year ahead for weekends, and is fully booked until Feb 2016!! So I have booked it for an away meet 14th /15th October 2016.
This leaves me with a gap for this october, as there are not that many huts in the Dales. I have tried lots of camping barns, which are either booked, too expensive, hold lots of people, or don’t reply!!! So… this year, unless someone has a good idea, I will be finding a campsite, for the weekend : 17th/18th October, avoiding the Grassington and Clapham areas, I will be selecting one on our return from our cycling trip. Please let me know if you have any preference of where, or a particular site, or available/suitable hut/barn, cheers , Linda.
