It would seem that Monday cycling could take off. 10 of us met in Ashford at 10 am today to cycle a loop Dick found in an aged tome, which claimed to take the easiest way up the hills on a 20 mile circuit. I can only say that it wasn’t easy enough for me – the idea of a Thursday walk style group for less fit cyclists did not quite materialise.
However I’m game to try again and hope a few more genuinely less fit cyclists will join us. Mary has started a What’s app group where we can share plans, so contact her if you want to join in.
No plans yet for next Monday so if anyone out there knows some gentle routes of 20 -25 miles get in touch.
