The lovely sunny crisp weather ensured a good turnout at Birchens. 10 of us started at the left hand end for a change and slowly worked right ward. There were quite a lot of people around, and it was all very sociable. Rosa finally got away from her studying and got ticking with Leon. Martin got at least 4 new ticks to go towards his 10000 target, and we wished we’d had a camera to capture Pats entertaining mantelshelf. David and I managed 9 routes, they are not that long! and I led 4 of them, so pleased to be back leading again, and David took it easy as he is suffering with a cold. Cookie turned up unmotivated, but soon got stuck in. Jez, John and Helen took it in turns to lead. Thanks to all of you, a very pleasant day out. Linda.
