With the mega excitement of the Castle Challenge weeks approaching in July – the big 500 challenges, see the website, the cycling challenge is week commencing 10th July. I was due to do a cycle ride on Thursday 20th July which is in the walking week. Linda has great plans for the Thursday walk taking in the walking challenge week AND the Peak Boundary walk so I am proposing to move the cycle ride to Thursday 13th July. Seems to make sense -thanks to Linda for the idea. Further activities for Cycling Week will be posted soon – we have 500 miles to do in that week, every mile counted so get out those rusty bikes (and legs) and join us on a wide variety of cycles for all. Better still how about organising a ride round Derwent or cycle over to a friends for coffee. They all count.
