The monthly slide-shows will start on Thursday 4th October at 8pm in the clubroom.
Gordon Tyrrall will present the first slide-show – ‘From the Land of the Rising Sun to 24 hour sun’ – his travels to Japan and Svalbard in March and April this year. Come along to be entertained and to learn something about parts of the world you probably haven’t visited.
The slide-shows will continue on the first Thursday of the month over the winter, and there are already interesting offerings from other members, but there is still one empty slot [either November 1st or February 7th 2019] which could be shared with someone else if you haven’t sufficient material for the whole evening. Just let me know.
