A quick reminder about Sunday’s Crowden walk – billed as a “Bleaklow Scramble” on the meets list!
Meet: Crowden car park at 9.30am (free parking).
Route: Boulder-hopping along Crowden Great Brook to the remote Crowden Castles, then crossing open moorland via the crash site of two Meteor jets to the summit of Black Hill.
Approx 8 miles and 1500 feet of ascent.Does anybody want to share a lift from West side of Sheffield. Leave 8.20am
