Climbing Stanage Plantation 1 August – note access problems

Note that road works mean that the road from just past Upper Burbage Bridge down past the Scotsman’s Pack to Hathersage is closed.
Access to Stanage therefore needs to be made via Coggers Lane in the middle of Hathersage going up either to Dennis Knoll (High Neb parking) or past North Lees campsite. Alternatively, you could come up from Yorkshire Bridge or walk over from Redmires. Weather permitting we hope to be there from 2ish.

Hi. I’m only a maybe for later. I know it depends on weather. But could be there for 5 ish. It’s not far to come if it ends up rained off.

2pm Torrential showers in Sheffield so climbing looks to be off!
We are unlikely to go on the off chance.
