    To all climbers.
    WE NEED YOUR INPUT!!

At the AGM on Thursday there was discussion about the mid week climbing programme, where we need to improve attendance if it is going to remain viable. The meeting mandated a group of climbers to produce recommendations for next year’s meets. This will go to the January committee meeting.

A meeting of interested climbers is therefore proposed for Monday 4th December at 7.30pm in the Clubroom
    .
It is a chance for the climbers to have a direct say on where the club climbs next year and also an opportunity to input into how the mid week meets work. At the AGM it was agreed they will promoted to be afternoon/evening meets maybe starting around 1-2pm and continuing into the evening. The consensus is moving towards trying a fixed day, say Tuesday for a year, instead of alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays . We need your views on these issues. We all agreed that better communication and more specific information on where on a crag we are climbing is needed. Do you want to be part of a text group where climbers will confirm they are going or make alternative arrangements if the weather is poor?
For the mid week meets we need a crag or sector of a crag with a range of routes from VD to VS/HVS that is not too far to travel to. Clearly for the mid summer months this can be a bit further away. Are you a boulderer? Where do you want to go and where can we have combined meets with the climbers?
For the weekend climbing meets, we need your suggestions of places you have always wanted to go or have been to and you found brilliant. Did you have a great day at Running Hill Pits or Tintwistle Knarr? If so recommend it to others.

Do come along for a beer and a social.
If you cannot come, forward your suggestions to me or Paul Gibson.
