Climbing meet – Oct 22nd. Birchen Edge

Meet at the National Trust car park to the right of the Robin Hood inn at about 10am (the post code for the pub is DE45 1PQ). Note that recently, the car park has been closed for resurfacing. There is some parking on the road just up the hill and there is sometimes parking avaialble in the field across the road from the Robin Hood.

The footpath up to the crag is on the left as you walk up the hill, just past the entrance to Robin Hood Farm. We’ll start at the right end of the crag (Kismet Buttress) for a bit of a change for people who’ve been there hundreds of times before!

Obviously, the weather may let us down at the last minute or be too cold to consider. Keep an eye out for Whats App updates for alternatives.
