A party of 9 set out from the car park, aiming for the ice cream stop ( they believed me this time).Here we were joined by Mike Doyle who had chased us over the fields, so an early coffee stop gave him time to get his breath back. From here we dropped into the Dale, and lunched just passed the cave. We then investigated Bateman house, and returned to the cars via Meadow Place Grange
