Meet 11am, at our house in Bradwell. There’s parking on our
drive for several cars unless it is icy in which case it
would be better to park down in the village and walk up. We
will head up through Moss Rake to the top of Bradwell Moor.
From here there are a number of options, depending on
conditions and how we feel. The alternatives rejoin at the
5-way junction on the Limestone Way at the top of Cave Dale.
After a short level section on the byway, it is all downhill
back to Bradwell where tea and hot buttered crumpets will be
served. Distance: between 6.5 and 8 miles depending on which
