Knoydart – I’m looking to book Knoydart Bunkhouse in Inverie 19-20th July then Saddle Mountain Hostel 21-27th July. Saddle MH Arn’t taking bookings until the end of October – useful as if anyone is interested in this trip you may want more than 1 day in Inverie – I’m flexible.

Glen Affric/Strathfarrar – Looking into Drumnadrochit Youth Hostel (Loch Ness Backpackers) 20-26th August 2026

Update – For various reasons I’ve decided to postpone my next 2 munro bagging trips to next year. If anyone’s interested:
    19th – 22nd April – Crainlarich
    10th – 11th May – Aviemore 12 – 15th Braemar
All youth hostels – which are already finning up.
I’ll probably arrange a trip to Knoydart in June and Ullapool in July over the next few days.
    thanks

I’ve booked myself a bed in Crainlarich Hostel for 17 – 21 September. So no clash with the Poolewe meet – could just be an extention to that/ breaks up the journey.

I’m flexible but thinking of September or October. The only dates I can’t make are the 2nd and 10th of October. I only need 3 days but would be interested in a full week. I stayed at the Crainlarich Hostel in April/ May and found it comfortable, friendly and convenient but happy to see if the Ochils Hut is free. If you’re interested, please suggest dates.

Does anyone want my place? Having double checked; the munro I’ve left to do in the area would be better suited to longer days than you get in Feb, I’m inclined to postpone a visit until later in the year.

It is a really nice hut and handy (I think) for poplar ice climbing areas.
