Walk from Foolow to Ecclesall using No65 bus.
The route is Foolow, Eyam, Froggatt, Grindleford, Longshaw, Houndkirk, Ringinglow to Bents Road. Approx 12miles using “rough string measurement”.
65 bus leaves transport interchange at 9.30. to Parkhead (Ecclesall Road) at 9.50 and reaches Foolow at 10.25.
I suggest meeting at 47 Bents Road at 9.30 and we can walk round the corner to the bus stop.
Do not park on Bents Road. Park on Haugh Lane or Broad Elms Lane (100m up from No47). No 47 is in 2nd block of semis just past the flats as you come up Bents Road from Ecclesall Road.
Potential for pint at Ringinglow or tea and biscuits at No47 to complete the day.
DO NOT call me if you are coming on the walk, just turn up.
