Walk report – Thursday 2nd April

A good turn out of 19 gathered in Grindleford , well wrapped up for the cold start.
We soon warmed up, heading straight up through Hay Wood and emerging into lovely sunshine on Froggat Edge.
Coffee was taken enjoying views over the Derwent valley, and the views continued heading along the top of Curbar Edge.
We dropped down to return through the dappled sunshine of Curbar woods and Bee woods , all feeling very spring like.

Grindleford community cafe provided tea and cakes for most, our thirsty group using up all their teapots!
