We are off to Masson Lees this coming Sunday.
For those of you that haven’t been before it is a sport climbing venue at a disused limestone quarry. There are plenty of routes to go at ranging from 4a through to 7b with the majority of routes in the 5 and 6 range.
Parking is an issue, the road is narrow and farm vehicles use the track leading to the crag – the track must not be parked on. See the RAD page for further details on parking: https://services.thebmc.co.uk/modules/rad/view.aspx?id=3845
More parking can be found on Matlock Spa Rd, Matlock DE4 3TA or at Bonsall.
I’ll be there at 9:30am and will be heading for Red Wall.
