    CMC Night Navigation session
This will be offered on Saturday 28th February. Originally this was to be run by Pete and myself. Pete is now unavailable due to another commitment. Gemma has kindly agreed to help with this, Thanks Gemma.

In order for us to plan this session we need to know who is interested and what kind of session you want. We intend to go from Fox House and out into the Burbage valley starting in daylight and working into darkness and getting back to Fox House around 9PM.
Could people please contact me directly if you intend coming and also please indicate what kind if session you would prefer.

    Option 1
A taught session for folks less confident in their navigation skills and would welcome skills development input

    Option 2
A supported practice session more suitable for people with some skills but less confident in darkness

    Option 3
A session more like orienteering with less direct support. This would be more suitable for folks with experience and just want to practice.

Please let me know what you want so we can plan appropriately. Ideally I would like to know by Weds 18th Feb.
Please respond directly to me by wattsap 07811986415. E mail gordon.riley61@yahoo.co .uk. I would also welcome phone calls if anyone needs to discuss this further.

Look forward to hearing from some of you

    Thanks
    Gordon

This took place last night in clear weather. Prior to the event possible numbers had fluctuated wildly but 6 people attended 5 of whom requiring some input. One person left very early due to a clothing malfunction.
The session went well with some features included to be deliberately challenging in order to highlight various teaching points. which was successful according to feedback.
    Thanks to all who came

    Gordon
