Our Excellent Egg of a President, Andrew Milne has decided/volunteered/acquiesced/submitted to follow in previous Pressie LInda M’s (a good egg too) footsteps to undertake various challenges during his next year in post.
Andrew is looking to club members to come up with challenges – large and small. There are some rules:
anyone submitting the challenge must be willing to do the challenge with Andrew
the cost of the challenge shouldn’t be prohibitive (unless the challenger is paying)
challenges should probably be legal, decent, moral and safe –He has agreed to do up to five minor challenges which will be chosen for him by Ali Milne
He will also do (at least) one major challenge which he will chose. All ideas of challenges should be sent to Ali Milne. All challenges in by the 28th November.
The challenges will be chosen and taken on at the Annual Dinner and Andrew will have a year to do them. You don’t have to come to the dinner to submit a challengeWe are not really setting any boundaries on the challenges but they should involve something Andrew has probably not done before and involves at least a tiny intake of breath before he does it.
PS. It would be better if they 1st, 2nd or maybe 3rd degree fun
(1st degree: fun at the time
2nd degree: fun in retrospect
3rd degree: not fun, but fun for those watching)**My thanks to JB for these definitions

As an example I will challenge Andrew to cycle the Tour de Peak District. A 155 mile route taking the nicest way closest to the edge of the Peak District. Either in one go or over separate days .www.peakimages.co.uk/cycling/tour-de-peak-district/
