Having just returned from the location I would like to add my two-penn’orth, which I hope will assist.
The road is closed at Mill Cottages and will be into next month. Lots of heavy machinery about so I would not risk the drive up the Edale valley, so take the detour.
To find the start of the walk from this direction you will turn left towards Edale village, then immediate left towards the station, passing the cafe, station car park and bus turning area all on the RHS. The track opens out into the parking area.
As always, the Thursday Walkers enjoy a challenge!
