    A short walk to bag the prominent landmark of Wardlow Hay Cop, a TUMP with a rounded summit and trig point. Route takes in part of Cressbrook Dale, the grizzly history of Peters Stone, the hill, Wardlow and surrounding areas. About 7 miles.
    Meet 10am , parking at Wardlow Mires on A623.
    GR 181 757. Bring usual snacks and refreshments.

    Note change of start as parking not allowed at Wardlow Myers.
    Park now at Wardlow, near the church. Turn lef on B6465 coming from Stoney.
    Car share if possible as spaces limited. GR 182 748
    Walk starting 10am. Can be boggy in Dale if it’s been raining. Coffee at cafe at end of walk.
