15 people and 1 dog walked from Brampton through Linacre Woods admiring bluebells, spring foliage and the occasional bird. A pleasantly mud free walk meandered across dams and on into Ducksick Woods where some mud was found but amply compensated for by an even more dense carpet of bluebells. Due to the leader’s temporary (I hope) Spring madness the distance exceeded the advertised 7 miles, requiring the application of copious quantities of tea to refresh the walkers on their return to Brampton.
