Park on Dale Road (GR SK 246 921) for a walk down to Dale Dyke reservoir, then up to Wet Shaw Lane and along the Stake Path track to Hollow Meadows. This goes through the land of Ughill farm, recently bought (or being bought, an appeal for funds is ongoing) by the Wildlife Trust. I regularly work up there, helping to patch up walls and fencing. We’ll return by Sugworth Hall and Boot’s tower then along the NW side of Dale Dyke. About 7 miles.
